I wouldn't say I am surprised though, but this tape has caused wild speculation, criticism, and outrage in some quarters. He claims he helped the pair come up with the PageRank Algorithm, which is the "brain" behind the Google Search Engine. Well let's hear what he had to say.
So why wasn't his name on the original PageRank paper which was submitted by the two (Larry and Sergey)?
He decided to pursue his PH.D instead... To fulfil his father's wish.
Apparently, the trio "supposedly" agreed that whilst Larry and Sergey went ahead with the project, He (Hubert) would continue his PH.D and contact them at the end of the program.
According to Chang, he tried contacting them in 2002, after his studies, and, well ........
So I ask myself, is this just another Hoax, or a complete Rip-Off by the known Google founders. I would really like to hear Google's official stance on the matter though. Guess we'll just have to wait and see now won't we?
